From inside to outwards , the layers of the retina are :
1- internal limiting membrane--Müller cell footplates

3- ganglion cell layer
4- inner plexiform layer
5- inner nuclear layer

8- external limiting membrane
9- rod and cone cell processes
10- pigment epithelium
